Cathy joined Stanley Tee in 1987 and is a partner in the firm. She has worked within the firm's private client department since 1989. She is particularly interested in advising clients on matters arising in respect of border jurisdictions. Cathy is able to give clients advice on the interaction of English and French inheritance taxes and succession rules with a view to ensuring that Wills made in the UK are appropriate for the individuals' circumstances. Cathy lives with her partner and two children locally and outside work enjoys gardening, trips to the cinema and theatre and travelling. |

Hervé Blatry |

Three years ago Hervé moved with his family from Paris to Bishop’s Stortford to take up the role of French Lawyer in the Tee France department. Hervé is a French qualified Avocat at the Paris Bar. He has also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English law from the University of Kent and is thus familiar with English law concepts. Throughout his career he has worked on many different French property related issues, both in France and the UK. |

Indra Balassoupramaniane |

Indra is a French Canadian and a member of the French Bar and Canadian Bar. She has practiced law internationally for seven years, most recently in private practice in Paris, where she specialised in advising Canadian clients on creating or developing small businesses in France, as well as in French property law. Indra’s main duties at Tee France will be advising clients on French law as it bears on conveyancing, construction, successions and litigation. She will also advise on international private law and civil companies law. Indra enjoys writing and she has contributed, since 1999, to various legal publications, such as Le Journal du Barreau (Quebec Bar Journal) and Le National (the Canadian Bar Association's legal magazine). She has also been granted the Kenneth R. Wilson Award for her writing by the Canadian Business Press. |

Sally Irving |

Sally works as Client Liaison Officer in Tee France. She is a Francophile; having loved the French language and way of life since school days, working as an au-pair and participating in exchanges as a teenager and then finally landing on her feet by finding a job in Paris with a French transport company. Sally lived and worked in Paris for five years, before returning to the UK to eventually marry and raise two children. Now working full-time in Tee France, Sally can again happily immerse herself in all things French (although is frequently a little envious of the clients who are moving out to France or buying beautiful holiday homes there!) |
