SOLICITORS JOIN FORCES TO EXPAND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Stanley Tee have joined forces with Stonehams of Saffron Walden to be known in Saffron Walden as Tee Stonehams.
Together with our existing offices in Dunmow and Braintree, this brings the Stanley Tee network to four offices, and enhances the firm’s reputation as a practice of growing regional and national importance.
Senior Partner John Donovan comments: “The merger is part of our strategy for sustaining growth, benefiting from the economic expansion along the M11 corridor and in particular in the Cambridge area”.
Peter Bricknell, Senior Partner at the Saffron Walden practice, remarks: “This is an extremely exciting and beneficial development in the legal services we are able to provide in Saffron Walden. We can now offer our clients a much wider and in-depth service and, at the same time, continue to bring the same friendly and personal care and attention to our clients’ needs”.
Keith Bird and John Bagrie continue as consultants following their retirement, while other partners remain, helped by additional solicitors and a greatly enhanced litigation department.
Both are long established firms, Stanley Tee was founded in 1915 and Stonehams can trace its history back to 1782. Messrs J.D. Langton & Passmore opened an office in 1967 to serve their clients’ large estates in the area, and in anticipation of Stansted airport. After subsequent amalgamation with Stonehams & Pumfresy, the Saffron Walden office became an independent firm under the name of Stonehams.
